Chris Connelly - The Episodes

Some day, while I listened to this album, my mother began to talk about some TV show about Bowie ... And to my comment that it isn't he, let's say that I haven't managed to convince her :) Now, although the way of singing resembles the early phase of above-mentioned, i found it difficult to accept this kind of comparison with a little bit, at least for me, boring Ziggy Stardust, and it is even quite inappropriate to powerful and complex vision like this.
Anyway, try to listen Bowie's albums after 1974, and while accepting that they exists at all, maybe you can fill your time with this excellent album :)

A man and a woman, a piano and voice, these are the frames of this great album. Does it seem too general and potentially boring?

John Stevens Away - Mutual Benefit

Monotonous travelling, from point A to point B, for me is something totally different, possibility to research endless variations. And if we blend music into that moving (we all have mini computers with us ) things get really nadreal, and this momentaly soundtrack directly have impact on reality and when you get there where you are going, you ask yourself: " How did i arrive here? " :)
And one of my favorite "teleport" soundtrack last few years was this, John Stevens "Mutual Benefit"  :)

Pauline Oliveros - Accordion and Voice

Pauline Oliveros is extraordinary accordion player, but she doesn't respect traditional sound at all. No wonder, she's name is closely related with innovation in the fields of electronic music, improvisation, and meditative sound. And this particular album is just that, one massive sound in which i'm completely lost last few days. And if you have patience, please, join me :)
